Successful mothering involves providing emotional support, spiritual guidance, and teaching interpersonal skills to help our daughters become confident women who know their self-worth. The Way She Should Go offers practical tools, biblical principles, and questions for reflection for married and single moms. Raising a daughter without an actively involved father is fraught with its own unique challenges, but it does not disqualify this daughter from becoming an ambitious, brilliant, confident, Black woman. For our daughters to reach their full potential, we must be willing to adjust our parenting strategies as their needs change throughout the various stages of their lives.
